‘JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD’ CAMPAIGN

At a time when our country really needs it, we decided to spread some hope for #MandelaDay. Xpertek Contact and their clients & partners came together to support local restaurants in a pay it forward campaign (called “Just keep moving forward”). We called it this, as we feel that through these challenging times if we just keep persevering and spreading hope, we can get through anything.

We focused on the restaurant industry as they have been hit severely since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and we did not want to see our community restaurants shut down due to the crippling lockdown restrictions.

On the morning of the 8th July 2021, Gavin Fletcher (Xpertek Contact’s Operations Director) visited DC Coffee Co in Lonehill. When it came to settling our bill, we decided to add an extra R6700 to the bill – we hope that this can help them to keep the doors open, and spread some hope within our community.

Our overall goal is to donate over R67 000 to local restaurants by the end of July, with your help.

How the campaign works and how you and your business can get involved:

1. You pick the restaurant
2. Donate what you can
3. Post a picture of your receipt on social media with the hashtag #payitforward #xpertekcontact
4. Tag a further three (can be more, can be less) businesses to challenge.

In true South African style communities are always willing to pull together and help where they can. We could not have pulled this off, without the help of our incredible clients & partners, Hammond Pole Attorneys, Skyfii and BBD.

“This effort verifies the power of community and how a little goes a long way. As a nation we continue to show resilience through the most difficult times, that resilience always starts with a glimmer of hope and that is what the aim of this campaign is all about, hope. We are incredibly proud to be a part of this” – Gavin Fletcher

“A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination.” – Nelson Mandela

Thank you for your support in spreading the love to build our country.
